Rob Englehardt

Rob Englehardt and partner John Scheer formed KAOS Entertainment in 1996 with the goal of creating entertaining and thought provoking television programs. Rob is the president of KAOS and oversees the production unit as well as directing and shooting many of the specials.

Rob began his career in 1990 as the lead editor and writer on Discovery Sport, a 13-part series for the Discovery Channel. Over the next four years, he produced, directed, shot, edited and wrote over 40 hours of programming for The Discovery Channel, The Arts & Entertainment Network and syndication. In that time, two of Rob's shows were nominated for Cable Ace Awards: Those Who Dare, a 13-part series featuring the world's most dangerous jobs, was nominated for Best Documentary Series and Trophy Kill, a special investigating illegal wildlife trade, was nominated for Best Nature Special.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Masters of Fine Arts from the American Film Institute. He is also a member of the Directors Guild and the Television Academy.

He lives in Santa Monica with his wife and two sons.
